Fortaleza - Brazil, April 8th, 2011

Dear readers,

It's been some good time since I last updated this blog! I've been working too much to pay bills... and time is to short!

Anyway, I thank you for paying me your visits! Life has been hard in the Tropics and not not a paradise, as pictured-dreamt by 99% of foreigners, when thinking about life in Brazil!.

This week, a son-of-devil, about 20 years old, came into the same school he studied before (Rio de Janeiro) and with the use of 2 (two) guns he killed over 11 kids and injured over 20! Complete disaster! We, brazilians, innocently thought that this kind of tragedy was something only in US + Europe, etc! Then, we realised that, as I said above, life is too hard here, too!

But, God is merciful and will confort the families, as we pray for them!

I see some people in Internet defending the use of guns, training with guns etc etc etc. Tst tst tst! This will lead us nowhere! The son-of-devil had an easy access to guns... and he did what he did! Governments must rpt must elaborate rules about the purchase and use of guns. Brazil will - now, regrettably - discuss about guns in the Congress! Yes, dear reader, we are actually a bit late: say 100 years late!

God bless you! Keep coming back!

At nights, I usually preach the word of God here! Monday thru Thursday, 21h30 - 22h brazilian time! Watch it!

Fortaleza - Brazil, 02.02.2011

Dear Reader:

Yes, I have changed the style a little!
I thank you very much for taking your time to read me!
This is actually a privilege and honour to me!
Brazil has a new president (Dilma - she, yes!).
Only God knows what is going to happen in next 4 years!
No, I did not support her, at all. I do not believe her!
But, maybe I might have a surprise: for the worse...!!!
Let's wait and see... God is merciful on brazilian people!

It has been raining in my hometown: Fortaleza (1.900.000 inhabitants).
Fortaleza lies in Northeastern Brazil. It's worth a visit. Come on in!
God bless you.

Miners in Chile (rescued, after all)

The world stopped to watch miners being rescued in Chile. Millions and millions of viewers through TV. Chilean president, Mr. Pinera, today is well known all over! I heard that some film-maker already trying to sign contracts with miners as soon as possible! Yes, out of the chaos God can produce miracles and miracles...

Today, situation is as follows:

1. The whole world knows that Chile is located in South America.
2. The whole world knows that Chile speaks spanish.
3. The whole world knows that Mr. Pinera is president of Chile.
4. The whole world knows that miners work under very difficult conditions.
5. The whole world knows that it is possible to use technology to rescue lives.

There were 33 miners. The one who knelt down with a Bible in hands, was the espiritual leader of them all. They are all heroes, yes - that is for sure! To survive 72 days beneath the earth... is actually an act of God!

May God bless each one of the miners!
May God bless Chile!
May God bless my reader!

Wacky election candidates reveal problems at heart of Brazil politicsBy Maria Luisa Cavalcanti

BBC Brasil

Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva is expected to be voted in by more than a million people "What does a federal deputy do? Truly, I don't know. But vote for me and I will find out for you."

This is one of the political slogans of a man who is expected to enter the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Congress, in the general election on 3 October with the backing of more than a million voters.

If the phrase sounds like some sort of joke, perhaps you will not be surprised to learn that this particular candidate is a professional clown.

Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva, or Tiririca as he is known, started working in a circus at the age of eight in the impoverished north-eastern state of Ceara, and is now a TV comedian.
_________________________________________________________

This is what I myself think on the subject:

1. Tiririca is actually a professional clown.
2. Brazilian Chamber of Deputies is full of amateur clowns...
3. Had I been born in Sao Paulo State, I would vote for Tiririca ehe ehe ehe!
4. Voting for a professional clown would be my way of protesting against amateurs!

May God bless Tirica... At least, I shall laugh and laugh and laugh a lot!

KORAN PROTEST PASTOR TO GET £100,000 BILL

Preacher Terry Jones, who planned to burn the Koran, is to receive a £100,000 bill
Monday September 20,2010
By Lianne Kolirin MAVERICK preacher Terry Jones, who sparked an international crisis over plans to burn the Koran, is to receive a £100,000 bill for police security.

More than 200 officers, including members of a SWAT team, were on duty at the church in Florida where Jones planned a burning of the holy book.

A huge security operation was put into place even though the pastor called off the protest, which was condemned by US President Barack Obama.

EXPRESS OFFER: CLAIM £15 IN FREE BETS HERE!

The police bill in Gainesville comes to more than £50,000 and the Sheriff’s office spent a similar amount after putting almost all its officers on duty.

Pastor Jones, 58, and members of his Dove World Outreach Centre planned to throw 200 copies of the Islamic book on a bonfire on the 9th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America.

The event was cancelled after US Defence Secretary Robert Gates called Jones and told him soldiers in Afghanistan would be put at greater risk by the stunt. With 48 hours until the planned burning, Jones scrapped the event saying he had secured a promise from the backers of a mosque at Ground Zero that it would be moved to a new site.

He flew to New York for talks with the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, who is behind the project, but he was snubbed.

The bill could bankrupt Jones and his church but he insists he will not pay, saying: “If we had known this in advance, we would have refused the security.”
_____________________________________________________________

This is what I myself think about the subject:

1. Terry Jones tried to call the world's attention to himself, to his church;
2. Someone at Terry's church should have warned him about consequences of his acts;
3. Many muslims burn flags, bibles, etc and nothing happens in Western world;
4. Western has been super tolerant with Islamism; not the opposite is true;
5. In fact, we should all respect someone's religion.

Life is too short. We should all live in peace. Peace, please!

Susan Boyle: she deserves all the very best...

I must say my heart went out to her since I saw her singing!
She is actually a great singer, hidden for quite a good time!
But the Lord made her sing in public (Britains Got Talent).
Now, Susan deserves all she will certainly get!
A reader (radical, for sure!) might say: how the Lord could possibly use her!?
Easy to explain: the Lord has his own ways of doing things...!
The Lord has his own ways of taking people out of poverty-misery-hidden places!
May God bless Susan Boyle. She deserves it all!
