The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you Numbers 6.26)

Carnival comes from carnem-levare (Latin, without flesh). Ancient pagan feast created in Greece about 640 b.C. and continued in Rome...

In Brazil, the pagan feast began in 1640 and never ever stopped, until today...!!!

Brazil became world-wide famous for the dances etc etc etc in Rio (mainly) and it is part of dreams of millions...

In fomer former times, Carnival in Brazil:

1. People were NOT used to eat flesh, to take part in orgies...;
2. Couples used NOT to have sex relations before Passover;
3. Some could even not to take bath;
4. Mirrors were covered with purple clothes;
5. People used NOT to take part in orgies.

Today:

1. People eat everything...;
2. Couples do whatever they can-wish;
3. Nothing is avoided, at all...;
4. Mirrors are hung over necks and God knows where else...
5. Brazil literally stops for 4 days, oh Lord!

Well, will you actually go out dancing Carnival? Try staying alive!
