SHOULD A PASTOR OR A PRIEST OWE A JET OR A LUXURIOUS YACHT? 

As a pastor, I am deeply sorry to say that Bill Hybels (picture) has resigned from Willow Creek Church(USA) and has been accused of sexual misconduct. The truth of the fact is that he now acknowledges that, on several occasions, he should have behaved differently.

There is an investigation in course at Willow Creek Church.

One thing I am sure of: a pastor and/or a priest should not - by no means - have a luxurious car or a jet. There is no excuse. None at all. Jets and luxurious cars do not actually fit as a symbol of humbleness.

MR LULA IS IN JAIL - WHAT A SHAME! 

Mr. Lula got to fool the world as being a very honest-serious leader in Brazil. 

See this paragraph of the article at New York Time's site: 

Mr. da Silva, 72, is no ordinary prisoner: Outside the building where he is confined is a plaque with his name on it, commemorating the opening of the building in 2007, during his presidency of Brazil.

Well, Mr. Lula has been in jail for the past 15 days and it seems he shall stay for a longer time...

All corrupt must be put into prison.

IRAN MUST RENEGOTIATE 

Iran does not want any change in the accord - of course.

Yet, there is no other way of trying to pursue some 'peace' in the Middle East.

Iran has repeatedly declared the desire to destroy Israel.

Trump has a totally different style that of Obama.

Things will be bad in case no New Deal comes into force.

THE HURRICANE INSIDE MY CHEST! 

No doubt: life has been severely affected on the brethren living in Florida over the past years, due to the frequent hurricanes. Devastation is all over and will never, ever be forgotten.  The pain is out there! But the pain is also - and mainly! - inside the chest, the mind, the whole body! And now!? What to do? 1. Believe it or not, God has everything under control; 2. He, God, has His own ways to councel-advise-draw people's attention; 3. The world will NOT (probably) finish now... 4. Other hurricanes (truth fact) will come over, bearing different names; 5. Get protection here and now!  What protection do I mean? Well, independently of hurricanes, there is peace in the valley of the faith. Yeah: you need faith to humbly accept that there is a 'power' up up there... and we, human beings, are mere pilgrims on earth, with a glimpse of existence aroubt 80-90 year old!?  Listen up! LUTHERANS - HAVE THEY ACTUALLY GOT OUT OF THE VATICAN?

YES - to my understanding, Martin Luther did what he should have to do at that particular time: an attempt of a reform inside the church. Yet, he was expelled, as everybody knows.

NO - lutherans, since long ago, have started an approach with the Vatican for something beyond the social services and a 'communion', which is not actually very clear to some people, but crystal-clear to lots of protestants.

Therefore, the question entitled above remains: have Lutherans actually got out of Vatican?

Proverbs 3.13

Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.

To be honest: we all need to be blessed, and we all are in search of the blessing. 

Yet, we ought to be extra careful on what we read, and take it into our hearts, and deposit it in our souls. Not every book deserves a reading! But, I highly recommend this book BENEDICT OPTION, although you may not, eventually, agree on all words-thoughts, it is worth-alerting the church about the hard times of today.

Forget not all His benefits!

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits (Psalm 103.2)

The truth is - regardless of  any religion - we are always looking for benefits-blessings! 

The real big problem is through which means we are in search of benefits... Usually, we trry to bypass the Cross (the true way!). And at times this happens, we suffer a lot! Yet, it is not all not all bad to suffer due to a big mistake. Big mistake is to suffer for the same reason over and over again! Therefore, we should all pay close attention to our doings all day long!

Some basic steps should be taken:

1.   Forget not the real source-power: Jesus Christ, the true man and the true God;
2.   Forget not the real means to benefits-blessings: Jesus Christ;
3.   Forget not that we are feeble and need His assistance all the time;
4.   Forget not to ask for forgiveness every time the Holy Spitit reminds us of bad doings;
5.   Forget not to help other people who might come to us in search of help. 

By taking these five steps, life should not be so bad...

Integrity - what does it really mean?

I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever (Pssalm 41.11-12).

Honestly speaking: it is always very, very difficult to please someone, exactly because we never know all the "preferences" of the person to whom we wish to approach... But, if we look up our eyes upon heavens, we shall gladly feel that He has been pleased with us - taking from the fact that we have been trying to live His commandments. 

Saying it differently: 

1.  To please someone takes time - a long time!;

2.  We all have enemies. At times, we have'em inside our own family;

3.  Integrity means a decent-modest life, Spirit-filled by the Lord;

4.  To be set by the Lord, it requires a decent-modest life;

5.  We should all pursue happiness by means of integrity. 

May all my readers have a decent-blessed week, and life!

"A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself" (Prov. 18.2) 

Honestly speaking: "Delight" is sort of a magical word, which we would like it to be a permanet feeling in our lives, regardless of the consequences. The "fool" of this proverb is the one who constantly tries to find "himself" all by himself! That is the problem, indeed!

1.   The true delight is to get to know God more deeply, through his word: the Bible;
2.   The true delight is to  get the real meaning-understanding of the word God and Peace of Mind;
3.   The true delight is someone to discover that Himself is the only way, the truth and the life;
4.   The true delight is to set our own hearts on Him, the biggest Heart of all, ever;
5.   The true delight is to bow on kneels and thank Him for one more day on earth.

Do not be a "fool"! Be wise!

"I prudence wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions" (Prov.8.12)

Since the very beginning, mankind has been asking:

1.   Where did man come from?
2.   Where is man now?
3.   Where is man going in the future?

These questions are considered "witty inventions". In fact, the answers to them (and much more!) are in the Bible - yes, in  the Bible, which is merely considered a "simple-historic book" of jews and christians alike - nothing else! - by nonbelievers. Of course, we, believers, respect all opinions. But, but think it over:

1.   1/3 (one third) of global population are christians!;
2.   Millions have died for the cause of Christ, never denying Him, never!;
3.   Millions of people have had their lives totally transformed due to the message of Jesus Christ.

In 2017, do yourself something different and rewarding: read the Bible and be transformed, as well.

May Jesus Christ bless and protect you today and ever!

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry” (v. 15)

At times, when we do bad things, we think nobody can see us! Yet, the Lord who is in Heavens (and on earth), does not keep watching over us, day after day. We often cry begging Him for things supposedly very important to us. At the end, He may give us (or not!). It all depends on his willling, and not on our complaints!
